We stay in Seattle tonight as we process the past week and continue to say "YEah God" for all he has done. I have been impressed by the stamina of our students. Most of them have not been away from their parents for this long and they are doing well. Very little whining considering the sleeping and showering conditions.
The weather is actually pretty cold today as we walk around downtown vancouver....which makes for great coffee drinking weather!!!

Tyler,
We went to the Greek festival today. We saw some exotic Greek dancing, ate almost authentic Gyros (they call it ee-ros), Greek snacks, artifacts, etc. It was good and fun.
Tonight, we will go to see Rodeo. I got tickets from work. I am sorry you are not here with us, but you must feel the same that you are sorry that we are not there missing all the blessed experience there.
I hope that you write some experience from Vancouver while you still have the fresh feeling from helping the same God's children.
Life is not surely easy. But somehow we come this far in His blessing. I often feel crushed under the situation that I have to carry, but, then I also realize that wow I am this well fed like now?!! Hush. Thank God. He is with us. We just open our eyes bigger to see Him better.
I thank God that you, my dear boy, is there on the awesome trip. I miss you.

Good to hear you all have had a great time. The foot washing sounds like a great way to bring this service trip to a close. Hopefully this has been more than an eye-opening experience, but also a heart-changing and action-motivating one.

Sounds to me like the trip was very wonderful in many ways. I am so glad that you all had the opportunity to work with people who needed your help, and also learn about yourself in the process!
